and it’s part of our mission to share that with our community.
WALKS, TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
Our guided walks and talks give local people and visitors a fantastic chance to spend time with our experts and gain an insight into the landscape, nature and community of Dùn Coillich, showcasing everything from black grouse to badgers, wildflowers to geology, lichens to bird song.
Keep an eye on our WHAT’S ON and Facebook pages or become a Trust member to be the first to hear about our public events. All are bookable via Eventbrite, with most free for members. Non-members are asked for a donation.
COMMUNITY GATHERINGS
We traditionally hold a community barbeque around midsummer and Halloween to celebrate the changing of the seasons; and in the spring we have our AGM and members’ gathering with a guest speaker. Come along! They are a great way to meet the team, hear from volunteers and see what’s on offer at Dùn Coillich. Visit the What’s On page for dates.

Dùn Coillich and the Wee Birks Field are managed by a charity, The Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust, which you can join as a member! By joining you will be supporting us financially and be the first to hear about events. You’ll also get an invitation to the AGM and receive regular updates about our work. BEHIND THE SCENES
The Trust and everything we do is managed by a Board of Trustees. If you would like to join the Board you can find out more here. If you don’t want to join the Board but feel you have other skills that would help us increase our impact, such as helping to run our social media platform, managing our archive of records or in any other way, let us know.
