Many

businesses

are looking for ways to give back to communities and the environment.

By working with Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust (HPCLT) at Dùn Coillich Community Land in Perthshire, businesses can support our work to restore precious habitats and our efforts to bring people into nature.

Our vision is to create a nature-rich landscape, full of the sounds sights and smells of thriving ecosystems, led by a community driven approach that delivers lasting benefits for people and place. How are we doing this?

  • By restoring ecosystems through planting trees and encouraging natural regeneration.
  • By bringing people closer to nature, delivering rural skills programmes, running regular volunteer sessions and providing hands on educational opportunities for local schools and youth organisations.
  • By creating a welcoming footpath network at Dùn Coillich.

Benefits of

partnering/

working together

With customers, consumers and employees increasingly motivated by companies that take a stand on the environment, it is becoming more attractive for businesses to seek partnerships with trusted organizations that make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the planet.

HPCLT is a small but very effective and dynamic charity, and we are seeking to partner with business who share our vision and goals. By working together, we can help your organisation give back to nature by supporting our work to make a real difference to both environment and community.

Partners work with us by providing an annual contribution which will go directly towards supporting habitat restoration and working with the wider community. In return we will offer you the following benefits:

  • Demonstration of your alignment with our vision for healthy, thriving ecosystems that benefit people and place. You can display our logo and highlight your membership on social media, newsletters and websites.
  • An opportunity to spend an away day with your team doing hands on conservation work at Dùn Coillich.
  • Connections with others committed to conservation, through participating in volunteer days, HPCLT events, AGMs, and gatherings.
  • Your business name and logo featured on our website and in our Annual Report, demonstrating your support to a wider audience.

The cost for a Business Partnerships varies depending on size (number of employees) and for smaller businesses it is as little as an annual donation of £250.

Additional

Bespoke

opportunities

We appreciate that your business may be looking for more bespoke ways to support our work or to get actively involved. We can offer a range of opportunities, such as:

  • Offering inspiration to current and potential employees on team building days that might include planting trees, improving footpaths and habitats, learning new skills such as stone dyke building or supporting us with other vital site management tasks.
  • Sponsorship of specific projects or items, such as a path, a bench, or a species or habitat monitoring project.
  • Sponsorship of materials needed to deliver a project.
  • Educational and outreach events, where a member of our team could visit your business to talk about our work and the wildlife that inhabits Dùn Coillich.
  • Joint publicity and engagement.

Of course, every business is different, and we are keen to work with you to design a partnership that suits us both. The next step is to speak with a member of the team to discuss what a partnership with HPCLT could look like for you, your organisation and your team.

We invite all prospective businesses to an exclusive visit to Dùn Coillich to see our work first hand and to meet our team. If you are interested and would like further information please contact our Project Officer Heather Hamilton: projectofficer@hpclt.org.
