Our Business Partners

Many

thanks

to our current business partners Glen Lyon Coffee, Taiga Upland and The Canyoning Company, great to have you on board!

Glen Lyon Coffee

Jamie Grant, Director of Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters comments, “The team here at Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters is delighted to come on board as official partners. We have had a long association with HPCLT and are huge fans of both the conservation and education work that the dedicated team of staff and volunteers deliver at Dùn Coillich. We enjoyed helping plant 250 oak saplings recently to mark the formal start of this partnership and look forward to supporting the important contribution that Dùn Coillich makes to the community for many years to come.”

Taiga Upland

Taiga Upland, led by Managing Director Rab Robertson, has a long-standing relationship with HPCLT. Over the years a number of our rural skills trainees and young people have gained their first experience at Dùn Coillich, going on to build careers with the Taiga Upland team.

Taiga Upland is one of Scotland’s leading upland contractors, delivering fencing, forestry, groundwork, woodland creation and peatland restoration at landscape scale. Bringing these services together under one banner means simpler, more collaborative contract delivery — one team, one point of accountability, across the full scope of a project.

The grounding our trainees get at Dun Coillich — alongside apprenticeship partners Forestry and Land Scotland, NTS Ben Lawers, and the Kynachan and Dalchosnie Estate — stands them in good stead for that varied, demanding work. It’s a career path that starts on the hill in Highland Perthshire.

The Canyoning Company

The Canyoning Company is a small local business dedicated to creating meaningful connections between people and the natural world through exciting and memorable canyoning adventures, but also to help participants discover the wild side of Scotland, explore its beautiful river systems, and develop a deeper appreciation for our natural heritage.

“We are delighted to align ourselves with the Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust (HPCLT), whose values closely reflect our own. Their dedication to conserving the environment for future generations, fostering sustainable land management, and helping more people engage with nature makes this partnership a natural fit.”

“This collaboration builds on an already strong relationship. Each year, we work with HPCLT’s Rural Skills Programme, introducing trainees to canyoning and the outdoor adventure tourism industry while developing practical ropework and movement skills. We look forward to continuing this work together and creating even more opportunities for people to connect with Scotland’s remarkable natural environment.”
