As a small
charity
we are heavily reliant on others’ generosity.
We wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the support of the Volant Charitable Trust, generous donors and the local community who got behind a major fundraising appeal to buy the land at Dùn Coillich back in 2002.
Project outreach work including the Rural Skills Traineeships and Modern Apprenticeship, has been supported over the years by organisations such as:
Perth and Kinross Council
The John Muir Trust
National Trust for Scotland
Forestry and Land Scotland
Dalchosnie and Kynachan Estate
Gannochy Trust
SSE’s Griffin and Calliachar Community Fund
The Robertson Trust
The Hugh Fraser Foundation
The Nineveh Trust
The Basil Death Trust
Over the years we have also received grant funding to support specific practical projects, including support from:
Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) Community Innovation Fund: hut restoration and toolstore.
PKC Climate Environment Action Fund: footpath improvements, signposts and leaflets.
PKC Nature Restoration Fund: wetland improvements and surveys.
Scottish Forestry Community Fund: waterless toilet.
The Enchanted Forest Community Fund: noticeboard in the carpark.
Our members, donors, sponsors and visitors have all contributed – not just to the transformation of a landscape but to a positive, meaningful impact on the local community and the wildlife they want to protect.
To all of our supporters, we want to say a heartfelt
THANK YOU!
