Dùn Coillich annual review 2024 – it’s a wrap!

April 2025

Our review of the year in time for our Annual General Meeting comes courtesy of Project Officer Heather Hamilton in a picture-packed guide!

It’s been a really busy year for the Trust, with the creation of our new website, the launch of a Modern Apprenticeship in Rural Skills, new paths and perch seats and the planting of thousands more trees to name just a few achievements.

There’s also been a huge amount of work to reinforce existing partnerships and develop new ones, support educational outreach and engage the community in a wide range of walks, talks, and research activities.

Whilst March marked the end of the three year Positive Destinations project – funded by The Gannochy Trust, The SSE Griffin and Calliachar Community Fund, The Robertson Trust, The Hugh Fraser Foundation, The Nineveh Trust and The Basil Death Trust – we have secured new funding for our rural skills training, volunteer management, educational outreach and public events programme, meaning the good work carries on!

We are incredibly grateful for the support from past and present funders.  It’s also time to thank members, volunteers and those who remember us in the form of donations and legacies.  We would not be able to continue our work without you.
